I went back primarily to accompany my dad to his scary doctor's appointment but once we received the good news (no growth in tumor size - yippee), we were all able to enjoy the rest of the week.
October just happened to be the month of family birthdays. My cousin Susanne's son Zachary (cute as can be) celebrated his 1st, while my sister celebrated her ??th ( TOP SECRET) and my mom celebrated her 60th!
