Our wonderful mini-trip started off at Santa Monica. We stayed at the
Georgian Hotel - a boutique hotel with a very retro vibe to it.
It had wonderful beach front views. We spent the rest of the day walking and shopping at the 3rd Street Promenade. There was a Kitson Outlet there - but like most outlet it was filled with junk you do not really want to buy. Who really wants to buy a Kitson tote anyhow?
We had dinner at
JiRaffe - which was excellent. Nick was drooling over his Heirloom Tomato soup while I loved the melon salad with blue cheese. MMMMYUM!
The next morning before heading out for Comic Con - we had a fantastic breakfast at "Le Pain Quotidien" . I especially loved my Belgian Hot chocolate. Doesn't that look awesome ?
