My goal this year is to use up all my stash before buying any more yarn. So far, I am doing a good job. I made 2 more new Star Afghans to use as TV blankets in our living room. I used up all my browns, dark greens and most of my (Beige Pound of Love that I purchased in KS years ago, I still have one more to use up).
To use up my white and blue stash (and other random colors), I have joined the Crochet Along on Ravelry and Craftster. Each month, I plan to make 2 12x12 squares that will turn into one beautiful afghan in December of 2009. So far I have the January and February squares completed :)
